One Moment Air-Racing

One Moment Racing combines a passion for aviation and racing with a mission to inspire future generations. The team, composed of dedicated aviation enthusiasts, races a Lancair Super Legacy at the Reno Air Races each September.
They are currently developing a carbon fiber P-51 Mustang-inspired design, merging iconic heritage with cutting-edge materials and innovation to push aviation boundaries.
Intern
- Designed P-51 Mustang tail parts using SolidWorks; modeled the rudder with a new internal composite assembly
- Conducted hand calculations to size bolts, rivets, and control arm of the rudder and tail post assembly
- Designed a wingtip for the P-51 Mustang based on race data and drag effects
