The SAE Aero Design Team at the University of Virginia is dedicated to designing and building large-scale RC aircraft for the annual SAE Aero Design Competition. Operating like a professional engineering team, we tackle real-world challenges, including stringent design constraints, tight deadlines, and budget management, to deliver innovative solutions.

Vice President
- Manage a team of over 100 members, overseeing the systems design and construction of a high-performance aircraft.
- Founded the Mini Design Project to onboard and train new members, teaching essential skills in CAD, aerodynamics, and model building.
- Designed the fuselage and performed finite element analysis (FEA) on critical structures to ensure durability and reliability.
- Led a successful test flight where two flights were conducted and stable flight was achieved.
